I recently did some research on laser marking machines. It all began when a friend of mine asked me for my opinion about importing laser marking machines from abroad. The first task at hand was to look for the right manufacturer of laser marking machine. Our second priority was to make sure that the manufacturer of these laser marking machines provided global support and maintenance. This assumes importance because the last time when we bought a laser etching machine from abroad we forgot to check about this and did not bother to make sure if the manufactures offered preventive maintenance services and repair abroad. Well, they did not, and it was a real pain (predominantly, in the place where the sun doesn’t shine), for us to get the machine repaired.

Now coming to how the laser marking machine works and why my friend needed one, a laser marking machine makes sure that the surface on which a marking is made is not affected by the etching process while using a laser etching machine. Hence more and more people nowadays are preferring the use of a laser marking machine to that of a laser etching machine.
